My background is in Speech and Language Therapy but I have always been creative and painting in particular has stayed with me from childhood into adulthood. In my previous job role working as a NHS Speech and Language Therapist I used painting as a way to decompress after work.
I began to crave larger and more obscure canvases, so experimented painting on mannequins and other household objects before I painted my first wall in my mums home. She loved the mural and I loved painting it so I painted a couple more murals for family. I was eager to do more leading me to offer custom murals to all.
I’m Trina. Here’s my story…
What I do…
I give walls personality by designing and painting custom murals for homes, businesses and brands. Whether it’s a play area that needs a more playful look, a social area that needs livening up or giving an office space a soul, a mural by Trina could be the perfect solution.
My process is straightforward and starts with you getting in touch with your vision and ideas, read about the rest of the process below…
-
This may be in the form of a call or a site visit. This is a time for us to discuss and agree on design ideas, styles, colours etc. Sometimes I may share a mood board with you at this stage to help us visualise elements of the mural you want.
-
Boring but important for us both. I will provide a quote and if we’re both happy to move forward with the project I will send through contract. This contract will need to be signed and a 50% deposit paid before the design process begins.
-
With mural ideas discussed and contracts signed, I can begin designing your mural. I sometimes send multiple designs for you to choose from. I also offer one round of revisions so that adjustments can be made to a design.
-
With the final design agreed on, the exciting part of the process begins! You get to see your ideas come to life as I paint your mural in the agreed timeframe.
